We bought 2 meters of string and attached it to our pulleys. However, we found the string to be a little too thick. Instead we used part of the thick string to hold up one of the cans. As for the pulley part, we used a much thinner but still strong string. The thin string was a little too thin so we decided to double and even triple the string and attach it, this made it much stronger.
Wood
At first we decided that we would go around the woods and try to find wood. The woods next to our house has a lot of old fences and gates and nice wood that hold up the trees. All of which is old and useless and just lays around. Once we would get that wood we would cut it up to fit our design. One day Natacha and her family went over to some friend's house in Mikage for a barbecue. This friend has a lot of brand new wood in storage. He likes to build furniture. The friend offered Natacha to take pieces of leftover wood from his latest creation. This was perfect because the wood is brand new, light and very strong. It suited the design perfectly.
Screws
To put the wood together we bought these supper strong screws made perfectly for wood. These screws insure that the wood won't crack when the screw is inserted. We used Natacha's electric screw driver. This was very easy and simple to put the wood together. The only problem we had was when we had the screw driver on 1 (lowest) and the screw wouldn't go in. This got really annoying. So we tried sticking it with clay and tried letting it dry for an hour. Then when we came back to check up on it the clay wasn't making it strong. We got a little upset, Natacha decided to try screwing it again. However, right before, Ayushi was playing around with the screw driver and changed it to 5 (highest). Suddenly the screw went right in.
